Thomas Heier has been recently appointed to the newly created position of chief experience officer.

 

Heier joined Wagamama, the Emma Woods-led brand, in 2017 as people director. The new role will aim at joining focus on costumer and brand with people and guest experience to reflect the increasingly interconnected industry. Brand’s insight, marketing, people and communication will report to Heier.

 

Following Heier’s move, Matt Hudson has been appointed to people director. 

 

Also, Lisa Buckley, the brand’s UK operations director, is  leaving the company and her role will be consolidated under Nigel Sherwood, chief operating officer.
